Many thanks to everyone who joined us in our new home this month.
Judging by the feedback you all seemed to like the new venue, it had a cosy feel & was much brighter than the Phoenix.
With this in mind I’ve decided to hold the next 2 meetings there & possibly into 2014.
So how did we do?
You all made some beautiful poppies!
We also had knitting & sewing.
I was very impressed with my urn & made tea all night….. hence the lack of photo’s!
We will be selling the poppies in the shop soon….. watch this space for dates.
Our next meeting in November will be Christmas decorations
As always the fee is £3.50…. don’t forget not only are you making things & having fun but you’ll also be helping the RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter
See you all in November!
It’s 2 weeks until our next meeting & October is all about poppies!
Come & make poppies with us to help raise money for The British Legion. This will be our 3rd year involved in this great cause, how many will we make this year?
Jenny will be coming along to help & guide us.
Please bring the following:
Red/green fabric or yarn
A basic sewing kit
Knitting needles or crochet hook
You can either knit, crochet or sew your poppies
Or you can just bring your own project!
If you would be interested in selling poppies in a workplace or group please let me know & I will pass on your details to Jenny.
We are changing venue!!!
This meeting will be held in the
RSPCA charity shop
91 South Street
You can find parking at the back of the shop & outside, there’s also 2 car parks very near by.
Just turn up at 7pm & pay on the night, the charge will remain at £3.50…….. money raised will go to the RSPCA.
You can purchase any items from the shop on the night & feel free to bring any donations you wish.
Don’t forget to bring a mug!
See you there!
