Next Meeting Tuesday 2nd October

 

We will be making poppies for The British Legion 
 
If you’d like to join in please bring some red/green fabric or yarn & some black buttons, a basic sewing kit, knitting needles or crochet hook. You can either knit, crochet or sew your poppies, Jenny will be showing us how.
 
Or you can just bring your own project!
 
You can either book online here or pay on the door
 
If you would be interested in selling poppies in a workplace or group please let me know & I will pass on your details to Jenny.

September 2012 – The Big Knit

 

Thanks to everyone who came on Tuesday night for our September meeting……. it was lovely to see you all!

There was lots of wooly crafts happening on the night!!!

We wanted to make about 150 hats this year but I'm sorry to say we made a total of……. 16!

Oh dear….. if anyone would like to make some more feel free to drop them in the shop before Thursday 27th September.

Next Meeting Tuesday 7th August

Apologies for the delay…… our next meeting is Tuesday 7th August

It's been a stressful week at Make, Do and Mend HQ!

Your votes have been counted & it's agreed you would like to do your own thing.

So just bring your own project…….. nothing to do???

You can always start to knit squares to make blankets for an animal charity & we can continue at a later date.

 

I no longer reserve places……. if you wish to attend you must book online

 

Normal charges apply

Members = £2.80

Non members = £3.50

If you don't book online you can turn up on the night but be warned we maybe full!!

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided……. don't FORGET to bring your own mug!

Thanks to everyone who came on Wednesday……. to those that couldn’t make it due to illness… get well soon!
It was our last poppies making session for this year……
A BIG thank you to Jenny for organising…… we have now raised £1,000 & we haven’t even hit November!!!
It wasn’t all about poppies….
Our next meeting is November 1st & we’ll be making Christmas decorations!
